The Campus UL 2030 proposal consists of an integrated urban operation within the Universidade Lusófona campus, Centro Universitário de Lisboa, encompassing the demolition, alteration, extension, and construction of several existing buildings. The project responds to an overall vision, articulating different construction phases and consolidating a coherent reading of the campus.
Based on the principles of the New European Bauhaus, the intervention aims to improve the university’s spatial and functional conditions by providing more space per student and faculty member. The proposal introduces a functional and volumetric reorganization of the campus, promoting a stronger connection between buildings and outdoor spaces, while enhancing the environmental and urban quality of the ensemble.
